Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Captain Cook was pleasant, with a warm and friendly atmosphere complemented by good food. However, I did encounter some issues with the bathroom arrangement and the temperature in my room, which made my experience less than ideal.
During my recent stay, I found the accommodations to be a mixed bag. While the location was convenient, and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the room left much to be desired in terms of upkeep and amenities. Overall, it was a decent experience but had several drawbacks that I hoped would be addressed.
I had an excellent time at The Captain Cook. The location is convenient, not too far from public transport. and the rooms are beautifully appointed. While I encountered some minor noise from the street and a bit of spotty Wi-Fi, these didn't significantly detract from my stay. Overall, I’d rate my experience highly and plan to return soon.
I had a decent stay at The Captain Cook, but there were a few hiccups. The room was clean and spacious, which I appreciated, but the absence of air conditioning during a hot summer, combined with low water pressure in the shower, made things less comfortable than I'd hoped. The location is nice and surrounded by great dining options, but it's a bit far from the tube—so definitely be prepared for some walking.
My stay at The Captain Cook was a good experience, offering a spacious room and friendly service. The location was very convenient for accessing central London and nearby attractions. While I thoroughly enjoyed the pub atmosphere and the dining options, the noise from the pub below could be heard at times, which may not suit everyone.
