My stay at The Captain Cook was pleasant, with a warm and friendly atmosphere complemented by good food. However, I did encounter some issues with the bathroom arrangement and the temperature in my room, which made my experience less than ideal.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and spacious, but the private bathroom was a surprise as it was not clearly indicated that it was separate. It made things a bit inconvenient during my stay.
Service
8.0
The staff was incredibly welcoming, which made a real difference. I appreciated their friendliness even though they seemed a bit stretched with limited numbers.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect for exploring central London, providing great transport links while still being away from the busy areas, which I found quite peaceful.
Dining
8.0
The food was surprisingly good, and I enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant area without needing to venture far. It was a wonderful experience overall.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel boasted good facilities, I found the absence of air conditioning particularly noticeable during the warm nights.

6.6/10

During my recent stay, I found the accommodations to be a mixed bag. While the location was convenient, and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the room left much to be desired in terms of upkeep and amenities. Overall, it was a decent experience but had several drawbacks that I hoped would be addressed.

Rooms
5.0
The size of the room was generous for London standards, and I enjoyed the comfortable bed and good amenities like ample power sockets. However, the cleanliness was questionable, with a dusty smell and some maintenance issues like a problematic window and an unserviced room during my stay.
Service
6.0
The staff were welcoming and friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. However, communication about self-check-in could be improved, as I had to contact them last minute instead of receiving prior instructions.
Location
7.0
The hotel is well-situated near tube stations and offers easy access to local amenities, making it convenient for exploring the area. Despite being on a busier road, I found it surprisingly quiet, which I appreciated.
Dining
8.0
Dining options nearby were quite good, especially the café where I got to enjoy a lovely meal. I also had a great lunch at the pub downstairs, which had a solid menu that didn’t break the bank.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities included essential amenities like laundry and dry cleaning, but I did notice some maintenance issues that detracted from the overall experience. For example, the shower room was quite cramped and not as inviting as I hoped.

I had an excellent time at The Captain Cook. The location is convenient, not too far from public transport. and the rooms are beautifully appointed. While I encountered some minor noise from the street and a bit of spotty Wi-Fi, these didn't significantly detract from my stay. Overall, I’d rate my experience highly and plan to return soon.

I stayed in a spacious and immaculate Deluxe King Room. it was quiet and comfortable, with a powerful shower and a large bed. Everything was nicely done.

Fulham is a lovely neighborhood with plenty of shops and eateries nearby. It's away from the tube but very accessible via bus, which was perfect for my needs.
Dining

Although I didn’t dine at the pub this time, the meals looked mouth-watering and I could take drinks to my room after hours.

6.0/10

I had a decent stay at The Captain Cook, but there were a few hiccups. The room was clean and spacious, which I appreciated, but the absence of air conditioning during a hot summer, combined with low water pressure in the shower, made things less comfortable than I'd hoped. The location is nice and surrounded by great dining options, but it's a bit far from the tube—so definitely be prepared for some walking.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and clean with decent size, though it lacked a minifridge and had low water pressure. The shared bath was kept clean, which was a plus.
Service
5.0
I found it challenging to communicate issues with management, as notes about the Lavazza not working were ignored. While housekeeping did a fine job with towels, I expected better responsiveness.
Location
6.0
It's in a nice neighborhood but a bit of a trek to the nearest tube station—about a 10-15 minute walk. It’s manageable if you don’t mind a stroll but can be tiring after a long day of sightseeing.
Dining
7.0
The pub downstairs served great food, and there's a fantastic fish and chip shop nearby. While there’s no breakfast on-site, I enjoyed having a nice meal at the pub.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacks some basic facilities like a fridge and an air conditioning unit. A deeper clean would also have enhanced my experience.

My stay at The Captain Cook was a good experience, offering a spacious room and friendly service. The location was very convenient for accessing central London and nearby attractions. While I thoroughly enjoyed the pub atmosphere and the dining options, the noise from the pub below could be heard at times, which may not suit everyone.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed and a Smart TV. I appreciated the aesthetic, although the bathroom's shared facilities could be a concern for some.
Service
9.0
The staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in, making me feel right at home. They recommended nearby eateries, enhancing my stay even further.
Location

The Captain Cook is perfectly situated near Fulham Broadway, making it easy to reach central London via various transport options. The proximity to local shops and eateries was a bonus.
Dining
8.0
The pub serves a diverse range of food, including delicious tapas that reminded me of authentic Spanish cuisine. I enjoyed my meals there, though I wished they offered breakfast to make it even better.
Facilities
7.0
Though the amenities were basic, I found the decor charming and the rooms clean. The drying and laundry services added a nice touch.
